1. What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program allows you to earn a commission by
referring potential customers to our web site. We offer
a high commission rate of 25% for every product that you
contribute to selling. This could be as much as US $50 -
$112 per sale.
If you have an existing web site or a permissioned email
list you can be up and running in a matter of minutes. If
you don't have a web site, but believe that you have clients
that may be interested in our software there are a number
of other possibilities. Please read the following.
If you would like to provide more than just a "sales"
service we may be able to cater for your needs. We have
flexible products and sales structures that could be modified

2. How does it work?
Firstly, you will need to sign up for an affiliate account
with SellShareware.com. Once you have done this you will
be given a web site address that you must use when you refer
your customers to our web site. When the customer follows
this link an Internet cookie is created on their computer.
This cookie contains information that identifies you as
the affiliate. If the customer then decides to purchase
the software, their cookie is examined and you are credited
with 25% of the sale. SellShareware will then pay you by
cheque or wire transfer 30 days after the end of the month.

If you would like to test how the process works you can
do the following:
- Sign up for an affiliate account with SellShareware
by following the steps in How do
I join.
- Follow the link that SellShareware provide you with
(for referring customers to our web site). By following
this link you will have created a cookie on your computer.
- Follow this link to our products order form. In part
1, the "Product Information" section, you should
see an "Affiliate ID". This ID should be the
number you were given when you created an affiliate account
in step 1. If this number is not correct then there is
a good chance that you were referred to our web site by
another affiliate. In this case, their affiliate number
will be displayed.

3. How do I join?
Joining our affiliate program is easy. Simply follow the
steps below:
- Follow this link to sign
up for an affiliate account with SellShareware. (Takes
about 2 minutes.)
- After your account has been created, login
to the SellShareware site.
- Click on the link to browse programs in the library.
- Locate and click on "Active Server Flash Standard"
and/or "Active Server Image".
- Copy the "Link to URL" and place it on your
web site, email or advertisement. You may also use any
other information listed on this page to help you promote
these products.
You may download any of our graphics from our web site.
We have also included a few that might be helpful to you.
Please do not link to images from this site. Download or
copy these to your site. (Linking directly to images NOT
permitted.)

4. Are there any
conditions that I should be aware of?
Yes, there are. These items are covered in the agreement
that you will have with SellShareware. Please be aware of
the following:
- We reserve the right to terminate your affiliate account
for any reason. This is to protect us from troublesome
affiliates.
- Spamming is not allowed. If you are caught sending
unsolicited email we will terminate your account.
- We do not accept any responsibility for the workings
of SellShareware. We have created an affiliate account
with SellShareware to sell other's products and are confident
that they have the technology to provide this service,
however we cannot guarantee it.
- No commission will be paid if a sale is refunded. We
accept the return of any product within 30 days of the
purchase date. In the extreme circumstances that we must
refund a purchase, no affiliate commission will be payable.
- We reserve the right to re-price or discount our software.
- While two or more affiliates refer the same person,
the first affiliate to refer the customer will be credited
with the sale.

5. I would like to become an affiliate, but I don't
have a web site. What can I do?
Basically, all your clients need to do is follow a "special"
link to our web site that you provide them with. This link
will identify you as the affiliate and credit you with the
sale if your client decides to purchase the software. How
you provide this "special" link to your clients
is entirely up to you. For example, when you send a greeting
card to your customer by email, you can add a product information
link like this: http://www.sellshareware.com/ProgramInfo.asp?PrID=54990&AfID=xxxxx
for "Active Server Flash". The AfID would be your
affiliate account number with SellShareware.
